Late last year, we released the Quiet Life Fall & Winter 2015 collection. Inside the Fall collection we featured several contributing artists and photographers that we worked with on certain graphic and photo printed t shirts and cut and sew products. One of the cut and sew all over front printed photo short sleeve and long sleeve t shirts featured the amazing photography from ‘Describe the Fauna’ duo.

You can shop the ‘Moto’ short sleeve and long sleeve cut and sew t shirt at selected Quiet Life stockists globally, at the new Quiet Life Flagship store in Highland Park Los Angeles or at The Quiet Life online store.

The duo work together to create imagery that is inspired by their love of culture, adventure, and music. The way people live their lives and the choices they make, especially in the in-between moments, are a constant influence in their photography. DTF can be found around their treehouse in Echo Park, at their studio in Downtown LA, or along the coast sleeping under the stars.

More history style:

We met in college [Boston] studying music & started a magazine together. We both had an interest in travel and photography so after college we took off and started a travel blog. We landed in Chicago and got involved in a 6-month artist residency program where we began building a portfolio from all our photographs and started shooting some fashion. LA was calling for the lifestyle, adventures, weather and of course industry, so we took off again, 3 months backpacking around Europe, and one month camping from Vancouver to LA before finally settling down here for the last 4 years. We’ve been lucky to be sustaining ourselves full time on our photography working for brands, editorials as well as small companies and non-profits.
